Land Rover Service Schedule
The Red transmission light is on in my Land Rover Discovery II, where do I add more transmission fuild?
The car is operating normally and we are not towing a heavy load. We have never had this problem before. The car is scheduled for dealer service in a few days. Is it safe to drive if we can not add transmission fuild and the red light goes off?

check the fluid level in the dipstick first before you add anything. an overfilled unit is worse than being down somewhat. is the light a service reminder light that was activated by a certain mileage amount?, if it was ignore the light until it gets to the service shop then bring it to the service mgrs attn.
