Does Mercedes Benz Smart Key Come With Warranty?
I left my smart key in the ignition for too long. As a result, it's not working anymore. I'd like to know if they offer replacement at no charge?
The keys' warranty is the same as the car. If it is an additional key that you bought later on, it's warrantied from the day when you bought it (in Canada, where I live, that's a 2 year warranty).
However, I've never heard of an electronic key ceasing to work because it was left in the electronic ignition too long.
