Bmw Mechanic
Do you need to switch to a BMW specialist mechanic when you buy a BMW?
I am looking to buy a BMW 335xi quickly. Was thinking whether my current trusted mechanic (of 8 years) will be able to handle all these new technologies in the BMW. Do not think that demand will help him, since he likely to say that he is able to work, do whatever. Can anyone who has made the move to give some insight on what I should do? Give Joe a shot my present until proven otherwise or the beginning of my search for a new store? Thanks.
It's not about the hand tools or mechanical ability. It's about having the right equipment to diagnose the problem. The diagnostic computer to properly scan a BMW costs about $ 20 grand. The BMW (Mercedes, Audi, etc.) are several computer modules and it is important to them to able to communicate and can pick up faults. Bimrs.com looking for a reputable store.
