Chrysler Transmission Fluid
How do you change the automatic transmission fluid in a 97 chrysler cirrus v6?
I bought a 97 chrysler cirrus v6 that's in good shape and I want so love! I changed oil, battery acid level and was controlled car transmition fluid change. Because now I was just to the auto trans fluid "no filter" although I have to change a new filter / gasket. For the life of me I couldent find a drain plug! I would have thought that it would have been the lowest part of the trans fluid Pan! I looked everywhere and found nothing! I had someone tell me you had the trans pan to remove the fluid disposal. I looked on the internet, this seems to be true. If so, how the hell I catch the liquid in pan removel without makeing a huge mess? Seemes verry crazy, but I do! Someone tell me how to do this in the most efficiant / less mess sort of way! Thank you!
You've probably dropped into the pot unless you pump out of the filling. At least all that trouble if you make sure you fill with good quality AMSOIL transmission fluid.
